Hi everyone and welcome to Sunny, perfectly, beautiful Florida. As you can see, this morning it was 70 here with sunshine streaming across the green grass! No cold snow here! So all you cold folks in Minnesota and other places, head on down to warm and sunny Florida!
Ten Gables is decorated with garlands and red bows and red poinsettias. This photo was taken just before sundown when the rays were casting long and beautiful shadows. |
Four rockers await those who want to relax, perhaps drink a cup of egg nog, sit and rock "a spell"!
A red cardinal (sorry he isn't really REAL) sits on the kitchen window ledge! At first glance, he looks real! We do have many birds in the garden that have left the cold North to winter in Florida.
I think Santa will have to arrive in Florida by surf board! Or at least trade his red velvet suit for some shorts! Perhaps I speak too soon, though I hear tonight a cold front is coming, which will probably mean maybe 50 during the night and a crisp 70 during the day! Merry Christmas, everyone!
Hope you enjoy a lovely warm and sunny Christmas!

Lucky you! Most of the UK is under water again. This week the worst-hit are is the county of Hampshire, where we live, though fortunately our town is not affected.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your Christmas card, BTW. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Your porch looks so pretty with the red Christmas decor. I wish I was in sunny Florida this morning with the snow blowing sideways up here this morning. LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou and yours have a wonderful Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all of you, Egretta
ReplyDeleteYour house is gorgeous. I just love this cooler (LOL) weather. So you had lefse....pretty much no taste except the brown sugar and butter, but oh yes Minnesotans love their lefse! Have the merriest Christmas, thank you for your friendship and sharing life's ride with me

oh, lucky you! It started to snow here. Hopefully it will not amount to too much.
ReplyDeleteIt does give this time of the year the right flair though.
Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Blessings,
Evi

ReplyDeleteMery Christmas to you and your family!
I've so enjoyed visiting your blog again! That is the cutest idea--placing the cardinal at the window! I'll be looking for one of my own!
