Hi everyone, Today I am celebrating my own "Rain Appreciation Day"! Everything looks so much better since we have been having showers most every afternoon or evening. Flowers are blooming and things are lush and green. Here are some photos of the back patio and garden.
The banana tree looks gorgeous and so does the plumbago and the Mexican petunia!
Here is a close up of the plumbago. The yellow butterflies love this bush and usually there are at least 3 or 4 on it!
Happy Rain Appreciation Day!
"Rain Appreciation Day" is not a concept that would catch on in England... We have too much of it as it is. Now "Sunshine Appreciation Day", that's a better idea.
ReplyDeleteAh yes Rain Appreciation Day. We had a nice rainy day today. What a relief. It has been so hot for days with no rain. I am on board with you!
ReplyDeleteYour Plumbago is just beautiful. I love those light powdery blue blooms on them. Glad you have gotten some rain. We have had drizzling rain here now for the fourth day. So strange this time of the year not to see a brown lawn and dragging the water hoses.
ReplyDeleteMark, you are outnumbered today! However, I do hope you have some glorious sunny Fall days to appreciate! Ann and Lona, It IS nice to see green lawns...thanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteRain definately has rejuvenate your plants! All of them look so good!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Malar. I enjoy your blog!Have a good weekend.
